Missing Colours
If you see missing colour/colours from the prints , try to run a print head cleaning cycle.
If this does not solve the problem please do the following:
- Remove the cartridge from the printer place it on a warm damp cloth with the
print head touching the cloth. Ensure that you donot use a tissue paper as
this can break down and cause further damage.
- Leave the cartridge for approximately ten minutes. This should draw out any
dried ink in the print head that may be bloking the nozzle.
- ReInstall the cartridge and run another headcleaning cycle. This should now
work.
If the cartridge is still not working return it to us and we may offer you a replacement.
Cartridge not Recognised
If correct contact is not made between the printer cartridge and the printer, the cartridge may not be recognised. If this occurs, please remove the cartridge and gently wipe the contacts with a soft cloth and reinstall the cartridge.
If the cartridge is still not accepted then it may be faulty and return back to us we may offer you a replacement.
Cartridge Not registering as full
Unfortunately some newer printers have the technology to detect when a cartridge has been refilled. The ink moniter will then display that the cartridge is low or even empty.
This occurs especially with the D4640 and D4646 Dell cartridges which fit the 922/ 924 Dell printers and also the HP 10 and 11 cartridges.
All of our cartridge are weighted and spot checked to ensure that they are filled to the highest capacity. The page yield should not be affected by the incorrect display.
Poor quality Prints
If the print out is of the poor quality then please try to run a print head cleaning cycle. This is likely to remove any blockages that can cause the poor print quality.
